Ah lavender

Our small local shopping parade was renovated recently,and the council planted some pretty flower beds.
One of them is a long stretch of lavender bushes. I passed it yesterday hoping to photograph a bee or two,but there wasn't one to be seen,though the plants were in the full sunshine.
What a difference when I popped down to get the newspaper this morning,the bed was swarming with different types of bumblebees. I think this one might be enjoying the scent of the lavender as much as I was.
