An interesting book on the life and work of one of NSW's artists of the 19th century and has  some fascinating details about Martens' contemporary Charles Darwin's personal life as well. I also came across a reference to a doctor, practising in Sydney in the late 1800s/early 1900s, whose surname could indicate a relationship to one of our local blippers. I wonder...
