My fire glow again

Nice day. Lots of meetings cancelled. Hip hip hooray!!

Again Samuel had more energy. 

I can’t believe I have to go to work tomorrow, I keep feeling like today is a Friday. 

Newsweek reports that some sources are claiming up to 18,000 Russian soldiers have deserted. Ukrainians are fighting for their lives. Russians are fighting because some idiot decided to make them. Commanders have no incentive to tell the truth about the high number of deserters. 

Ukrainian soldiers evacuated cats! 15 cats, Zmiinyi Island. The MacPaw Foundation supported their being taken to one of Ukraine’s largest animal shelters, Sirius. Zmiinyi Island is also known as Snake Island and this is the one where the Russian warship told the Ukrainian soldiers to surrender and the Ukrainian soldiers said, “BLEEP!” They repulsed Russians twice but then ran out of ammunition. June 2022 Ukraine took the island back which helped them displace Russia from the Black Sea. While there they took down the Russian flag, put up their own flag, de-mined areas, and rescued a cat. They took Russian equipment and weapons. Russia claimed it retreated as a gesture of goodwill. 

The EU General Court said Ukraine could not trademark, “Russian warship, go bleep yourself.” Sad. The court said it is a political message not an indication of goods or services.
