It is always an interesting time when the panto costumes start coming thick and fast.

The Youngest was present today as our Costume Designer (pictured) asked me to try on the hoop which sits below the full-length dresses. It always makes me feel like I’m on a flying saucer.

Unbeknownst to me as I tried on this crucial costume item, Samm was taking a candid snap of proceedings and sent it to me with the caption of “Daddy, why are you in a dress…again?”, which really made me laugh!

It’s been a lovely day with rehearsal sandwiched by a little trip out to and kick about at Grange over Sands and then a Chinese takeaway together at the back end of the day.
