A brown mess...

...which seems to cover a lot of British dishes.
This is (or is supposed to be) bangers & mash... Roast carrots (done in the airfryer), mash with Toulouse sausage cooked with onion and bacon, before adding and cooking it in the gravy.

My daughter liked it anyway... I was expecting my son to be here to enjoy it too, but he has a badminton tournament this afternoon. Which I had forgotten about... (perhaps because he told me last week and not last night or this morning).
