Wet Wet Wednesday

It seemed to have rained all night as it was a very wet start to Hump Day! Thankfully we didn't have to go anywhere so headed out for a local walk, dropping some stuff off at the local charity shop and then headed towards the creek.

A lot of the park was under water, as was the road heading towards Canvey underneath the railway bridge.  This used to be part of the creek so it obviously just wants to revert back to old ways!  Made for some fun watching people drive through slowly!

high tide at the creek so birdlife was at a minimum other than some cormorants flying downwind.  The egrets, seagulls and ducks were all hanging out in the newly formed rainpond puddles at the park!
