MAUSOLEUM....West Wycombe..

After an appointment with the hygienist I drove to the top of West Wycombe hill. So that I could show you the mausoleum. This is a follow up from yesterdays blip taken at the bottom of West Wycombe hill. The Dashwood mausoleum was built in 1765. It was built on a site of an iron age hill front. It contains the ashes of the Dashwood's family . A bronze age settlement is widely believed to have existed here. You can see St Lawrence's church by the side of the mausoleum. Which I'll photograph another day. It looks better when the sun is shining. But todays very cold and I can't feel my fingers.

Thank you for stopping by ....and have a really nice day.
