Not Quite An Emergency Blip

When all else fails…find a fungus!

No sunrise this morning..there was a covering of thick cloud which gave up a bit of moisture.

Finally got out just after lunch and found this little mushroom growing on the cut end of a section of tree trunk. The trunk has been left for several years now and it is seriously rotten.

The light was pretty good and I spot metered on the mushroom to get it nicely exposed.
