Smile for the camera

Apart from Biskit duties, today was largely taken up with passport applications, or to be more precise getting passport photos taken.
 
It started in my studio (table etc in the family room) with the floods, but I quickly realised that to get close to my white backdrop would mean a lot of furniture moving.  I then had the idea of the blind in our bedroom.  Now this took up a LOT of time, as I needed the flash and I was getting a shadow behind my head.  I tried all manor of configurations, close, telephoto, at an angle, but achieved nothing but wasted time.
 
I finally gave up and headed back to the ‘studio’, and had a brainwave.  Instead of moving the table (and ALL that goes with it) why not sit on the table.  Bingo.  Mind you I had to get the step ladder out so that Mrs W could get on the table when it was her turn to get her photo taken.
 
Anyway, passport application accepted so all we have to do is send the old ones back.
