Photoelasticity

Digital group today and only Geof could make it.  We worked on Photoelasticity following This Tutorial .  (Photography Expert)  Using Polarised light - main using iPad,  extras using the screen of my computer with plastic objects in front.  The plastic objects need to be hard see-through plastic.  There is a polarising filter attached to my lens.  As you turn the filter it changes the colours.

A piece of cellophane sheet crinkled up and placed in front of the screen adds more colour!  (second extra)

We then took the images into Lightroom and changed them including inverting the colours in the main shot!  

A really interesting afternoon!
