All Change

Took the train to Bradford for the first meeting with a group of people in my age range who are interested in taking part in an inter generational dance performance. This will be part of the Bradford City of Culture in 2025.
The performance will be in July at The Alhambra Theatre. It will take a lot of commitment.

We met today for the first time and did some movement and other introductory activities, l could tell they wanted to see if we could respond to rhythm, keep time and dare to be creative.

The rehearsals start in January and will be weekly. It may mean l will have to give up my volunteer role at YorkGate for next season. And it will also mean l can’t do Granny taxi for Kitty for the next two terms, a role l really enjoy. Need to have a bit of time to consider my options before fully committing.

Passed the city hall on my way back to the train station. The massive upheaval as the town centre is further pedestrianised is really coming together and it’s looking very good.

Plumber returned as promised and fixed the leak on the condensation pipe on my boiler. Great service.
