A day in the Dales

After the recent wild weather of storm Bert, we have just had a glorious day up in the Dales. We did a circular walk visiting 5 villages - Burnsall, Hebden, Grassington, Linton and Thorpe.
This was rounded off by a return to the Old School Tearoom in Hebden for some excellent tea and cake.
The main shot is of some interesting ripples in the landscape which stand out rather well in the winter sunshine. I'm not sure what the geological cause of this topology is.
The second extra shows a rather fast flowing river Wharfe between Grassington and Linton.
