Waitomo Caves, New Zealand
WEDNESDAY
Harriet and George are spending a month holidaying in New Zealand and early this morning sent me a couple of photos of their adventures today (NZ being 13 hours ahead of GMT).
They have been on a Black Water Rafting tour which was not for the faint hearted and involved a three hour adrenaline-fuelled experience: floating down an underground river, slipping into fast waters, jumping off waterfalls and taking in the magic of the glow worm studded Ruakuri Cave.
Meanwhile, on a quieter note, I went to the hospital in Rhyl this morning for a PSA blood test which is routine for someone of my age followed by breakfast out and a walk on the promenade in the sunshine.
