Last day with the bike hire - went out for a shortish and (hopefully) relaxing final ride, tailwind out and then paid for it on the run-in to home with a quite vicious headwind. In fact, when coming off the bike to position it for this shot ...I could actually feel it nearly blowing out of my hand. I cared not! The end was in sight, just a few miles to home.

Wandered back along the seafront from the bike place with a can of restorative lemon Fanta, stopped in at a beachfront bar for a cortado, called in the local shops to pick up a few afternoon beers, and all was well with the world by the time I arrived back at the villa.

An evening out with a walk to nearby Natura Beach to a favourite Italian with cocktail stops before and afterwards. Very pleasant indeed, and still 23° as I type alfresco at 10.45pm. This time next week may well be very different I can feel.
