Today's Visitor

H jumps at the chance to have Maple here.   (not the best photo sorry) Peter and Fiona drove to Blaine ( on the border of Canada) to renew Fi’s Nexus Border Pass….an appointment that was made months ago when they thot they’d be on the way to the island.   But no one’s going there without me.  There are NO appointments available in the near future anywhere in the US!    I’m wondering what Trump will do with this program.  So they knew it’d be a long afternoon.   I’m sure horrible traffic. 
  
 H and Maple have been out for 3 walks and she  really liked that the cleaners were here for the monthly clean today.  Tried to keep her on my bed for a rest.  Guadalupe has the next 2 days off and is making turkey enchiladas.  She’s so sweet.  (extra)  We’re lucky !   Phone chat with a friend who lives in Mexico for the winter and was talking about a spicy mexican TG. (cranberries and jalapeños?)

Also made a family recipe long promised-  Aunt Marie’s cheesecake.   Took me forever but that’s my contribution to TG dinner…Last time I ever do that. (Other extra) )
