It's Raining, It's Pouring

It most certainly is - sheeting down, as they say with no let up.

Prompted me to check out the words of the nursery rhyme of the same name - made me giggle!

It's raining; it's pouring.
The old man is snoring.
He fell out of bed and bumped his head,
And he couldn't get up in the morning.

Really feel for the children just finished school for the summer holidays and their parents desperately looking to occupy them for the next few weeks - made all the more difficult when the weather is wet.

Do hope the rain stops soon but looking at the forecast seems unlikely - right through till Wednesday.
