Close Encounters !!

The little bug was strolling up the side of the stem oblivious of the spider lurking on the other side of the stem. Not sure if the spider was aware of the bug as they passed one another with no encounter. If their legs had touched I suspect the outcome might have been different - not sure in who's favour.

Does anybody recognise the little bug who is approx. 3 mm long ?
