Becoming my mother…

I placed some flowers from our garden into a vase yesterday and suddenly realised why I like having flowers in the house. My Mother used to have many vases of flowers picked from her garden and would arrange them every week.  Mum used to arrange them- I “plonked” them, but still appreciate their beauty.

It was wonderful to meet 2 Blippers from Australia today at our weekly photography meet up over coffee.

This afternoon we had an excellent end of year U3A- 3 speakers, one on Aurora, another from Waste Busters and our main speaker spoke about “Osteoporosis” - seems like if we live long enough, we will have it!

Our neighbours came for a drink at 5pm…and now we are having a quiet evening.
