Chui and Churo

These delightful Tibetan Spaniels are regular visitors to the Takahe. They sit patiently on chais beside their owners, longing to be fed. 
Today was very hot with the temperature reaching 31°C. I gardened early at our student flat, hoping to avoid the heat, but it was already 27°C by 10.30am.
I have watched some of the first cricket test between England and New Zealand on and off during the day. Honour's seem to be fairly evenly shard with New Zealand 318/8 at stumps
The highlight of the day was provided by one of the English commentators. When he heard that we were expecting 30 degrees he assumed that was Farenheit and he arrived at the ground all rugged up for a freezing day. 30C is 86F.
