Frosted fern. 8:07 a.m.

It is frosty this morning.
At the moment the sky is a clear icy blue, and the sun is catching the rooftops and topmost tree branches across the back gardens.
It was -3C at 7:00am.
Stephen managed very well at the Dental Hospital yesterday, The whole procedure took an hour and half. He has stitches in his bottom gum, and says he looks like a hamster who has filled up his mouth pouches with food! Only on one side of course.
His brother, who lives in Grassington, is at this point in time in Leeds General about to have a a procedure to remove the wires from his sternum, which have been troubling him since his heart operation last year. His wife drove him in early this morning. They are very much in our thoughts right now, and are keeping in touch with Helen, my sister-in-law on WhatsApp.
