On This Day In History
1895: Duryea Motor Wagon wins first car race in the U.S.

Quote Of The Day
"Persons who are inclined to decry the development of the horseless carriage will be forced to recognise it as an admitted mechanical achievement, highly adapted to some of the most urgent needs of our civilisation."
(Chicago Times-Herald Newspaper, sponsor of the Springfield street race)

UPDATE:

Finally getting a (very) little more information on the story of mysterious "drones" flying over three U.S. Air Force bases in England. Does the U.S. government think we are dummies? Swarms of hobbyists have descended on three U.S. Air Force bases to fly their drones in restricted air space for several days in a row and the military has not used their ORCUS C UAS system to bring at least one of them down so that they can tell us definitively what they are and where they come from rather than persisting with the "we are monitoring the situation but we know they have not harmed any personel or military assets" line. That's it? Damn!

Ross Coulthart on the "drones" over England.

Further intrigue. Thanks to Caspersight for alerting me to this. A predictive software called WebBot developed by Cliff High way back in 2009 predicted that there will be a huge battle in the sky between alien spaceships and air force jets 39 days after a trigger event. What would the trigger event be? An interview between Joe Rogan and Donald Trump. Now, remember, back in 2009 Joe Rogan was practically unheard of and Donald Trump was just a real estate mogul, so this prediction is extremely uncanny. If you believe it, then on December 3rd, shit's gonna get real.
