Robin
Watching this wee robin while I was in my dining room. I keep a camera on a tripod, by the window, and rattled off a few frames. When I was reminded of a poem about winter and robins. The author is anonymous.
The north wind doth blow,
And we shall have snow,
And what will poor Robin do then,
Poor thing?
He'll sit in a barn,
And to keep himself warm,
Will hide his head under his wing,
Poor thing!
Sadly there are no barns near here but I have seen robins nesting in the hedge in my back yard.
