Everything outside was white with frost again this morning. I was in no rush to get dressed and go outside so the birds had to wait an extra hour for their breakfast. Yesterday I spotted the first bullfinch of the season and today a thrush.

In the afternoon I wandered along to the garden centre. It was much busier than the centre of Ambleside. The Grinch family were there . . . two adults, four young children and two in between, all wearing Grinch jumpers/sweatshirts. I tried to sneak up behind a few times but failed to get a photo.
