Batbox

It’s ok, Mr F didn’t put the new batbox up with his poorly thumb and all, but I realised I haven’t updated you on the current bat accommodation situation, so here we are.
In a bid to dissuade them from roosting behind our shutters, which we don’t always close every night, Mr F Built a bat box last summer and just prior to the accident he put it up. 
The problem with the bats roosting behind the shutters is that if we want to close the shutters, we’d disturb them, and last summer there was a huge colony of bats and baby bats just hanging out on that wall, so that’s why he put the bat box there!
The sky was really that blue and it was very warm today, I even had to take my coat off while I was cutting the hedge!
