Snow

Woke up this morning and opened the blind in the roof window to see it was raining and then sleeting, by the time we had got up it was full on snowing. Decided against a walk in Scone Palace gardens as the snow was settling on the roads and headed home. Took us 2.5 hours to get back from Perth as the Bridge of Earn was shut for a while and then the roads were full of snow, and it was slow going in the van. The Queensferry Crossing was shut so we had to go over the Forth Road Bridge, can’t remember how many years it’s been since I last went over it. Got back OK and emptied the van before getting lunch. Headed up town to see how busy the Christmas market was, after noticing the queue we decided against it and headed down George Street to go to Panda and Sons for a cocktail. Arrived to find a queue there as well so came home, much to Darwin’s disgust as he was ready to go in for a saucer of gravy bones. Steak for dinner and watched qualifying for the race.
