Musing of a Lady

Burning Energy

I love having a toddler, he keeps me busy and, on occasion, he helps get me out of my comfort zone. I'm an introvert and often find it hard making friends. Having Little Man means that I've been reaching out to various mums, who live locally, to organise play dates for Little Man, which often involves my spending time with the mums.

This morning Little Man and I went to help Adriana,  a friend from church, wrap presents for the children at church. Adriana has two boys; the younger one is a similar age to Little Man so the boys had fun whilst we drank coffee, chatted and wrapped the gifts. It was lovely.

We then popped home to put the recycling out. I was too tired to do it last night, and realised I'd forgotten to do it before we left for Adriana's. Thankfully the local recycling guys hadn't been past when we got home, so I popped it out and gave Little Man something to eat. We then walked to the local supermarket (a decent walk of forty five minutes) to get a few things that hadn't been included in the most recent delivery. We managed to get the bus home. The bus driver was lovely and dropped us off right outside our house.

We then spent the rest of the afternoon hanging out at home. Little Man had a lot of fun playing in the garden, as the weather was so nice, albeit a bit chilly.
