A Spider's Nest

I came across this interesting spiders web and discovered that it was a protective nest for a cocoon housing many baby spiders. I know this because my beloved dog, in her happiness, smashed her tail through a neighbouring nest and out popped a cocoon. The cocoon was soft and pliable, but broke and tens of baby spiders came rushing out of the cocoon-nest.

I managed to blip this on a particularly damp morning after a heavy dew.
