late afternoon on the Adur

A lone cygnet paddles bravely by, no parents in attendance. You can't see from the photo, but it's still very grey and I didn't think they really ventured out on their own until they were properly white. However, my swan knowledge is limited.
Drove back home in bright winter sun. Very very tired after poor sleep so glad to be here.
