Hotel Chair

My wife pointed this chair out to me in the hotel and I queried whether it was a genuine article as I had never seen antique chairs on the Antique's Roadshow which had dates attached. I thought it was maybe a reproduction in the Charles II style. However, when I reversed checked the image on Google I found that there were Charles II Chairs in this exact style with dates attached. Maybe they were produced in some numbers as they were far, far cheaper (£200) than any of the other CharlesII Chairs on offer from antique furniture websites. So much for my cynicism
