Return to Bannockburn.

We had a fairly busy day today. A funeral this morning and a catch up with people not seen for ages then back home. As Chloe was needing a good walk, we took her to one of her favourite places, the Battle of Bannockburn memorial park. She can run off lead there in safety, meet other dogs and chase her ball. 
The above shows the equestrian statue of King Robert on the right, the rotunda and flagpole to the left. MaggieD is in the centre and Chloe is also in there, a little black spot in the middle distance. 
Although it was still mid afternoon, the sun was already heading down. That frost had not lifted all day, the best temperature I saw on the car dashboard was 0.5C! It’s changing now though, still cold but the rain has started. With any luck, it will wash the grit off the pavements.
