Move over!

That’s what the swans were thinking when we walked in Sutton Park!
It was like a mob of hungry ducks,coots , countless gulls, round our feet and overhead!!..
This pair of swans were obviously top of the pecking order and were not frightened at all.. quite happy to eat from my hand!
It was quite late afternoon , as the sun was lowering and it felt as if winter was telling Autumn to move over!
It was still frosty in parts and musty.
But what treasures and delights we came across..
.. a lovely collie that wanted us to play with her stick
….the delight and joy in a fellow walker when he spotted his first egret
..seven cormorants
.. the happiness in a woman surrounded by dozens of geese that she was feeding by hand by bags full of bread
..rabbits out for their evening meal
.. the joy and calming effect that walking in the park always gives me
