Best-before-date?

We have different standard for date in different countries. A quick search on the net says that UK/Europe use DD/MM/YY while in USA it's MM/DD/YY.  And in Sweden we use YY/MM/DD. Nevertheless I decided that this spice had passed best-before-date regardless of standard used.

Anyone interested in well-stored Marjoram?
