Bishop Hill

A lovely clear day, but damp outside. Nice walk at lunchtime with nice views across the water to Fife, the blip shows Bishop Hill. In the park, the jackdaws were concentrating on feeding, so we could walk past them and they don't fly off.

After work, partner and I head out. The dampness from last night is still there. As the temperature is set to drop to -5degC. At least it is bright, so a nice walk in the evening glow. On the way back, we cross a wee bridge which has a wooden surface and partner has to suddenly grab the hand rail. Still damp from last night's rain, the water has frozen, and she nearly falls. Not too bad once across, the tarmac hadn't started to freeze yet. Heading back up, the western horizon goes from pink to yellow to turquoise. (I only have three Extras remaining for this year!!) A few minutes later, this has gone, replaced with night. Too dark to walk through the final park, so we walk home along the road..
