Birdwatching in Rijssen

Another early start, with me leaving the house around six 'o clock in the morning, to pick up Marion in Groningen and then Eddy in Assen. We drove to Rijssen, where Eddy had rented a bird watching hut. We didn't see a lot of activity from the kingfishers, but we had a great time with lots of laughter. We witnessed one dive of a kingfisher and we all managed to get some decent shots. For me, the squirrels were the stars of the day,
