A gift!
Today I received a gift from a lovely member of the church who had watched me frantically switching between prime lenses as I took the baptism photos last week, a zoom lens!! So exciting - I’ve had a 35mm and 90mm lens since I went to mirrorless Fuji after my DSLR was stolen in London, and they’ve served me very well! But have wanted something with more zoom for a while - particularly when stood at the back of church and not wanting to disrupt anything by going further forward to capture life events going on on the stage. Here’s the first photo I took with it as I went out with the dog, through the garden, to the park to try it out.
Funnily, noticed I took this shot at 86mm - I’ve obviously got used to what I can capture and where to stand to capture things with a 90mm (which is the lens I mostly use).
