breezy walk.
We had to go over to Filey this morning and as it was a lovely day we took a walk to Filey Brigg, the views were amazing, Scarborough castle to the North and Bempton cliffs beyond Filey bay.
Lots of birdwatcher out so we asked what they were interested in - Lapland warblers and snow warblers are visitors at this time of year, I only saw red shanks but too far away to get a photo on the phone. Need another visit with a proper camera.
Filey Brigg is a peninsula situated to the north of Filey town centre. Its cliffs reach a height of 20 metres and consist of a variety of material, from sandstone to limestone. It is a designated Site of Special Scientific Interest due to its geological significance.
