End of season

Sounds a bit strange, but is true. The yearly season of the rowing club finishes end of July. It remains closed during August (too hot, few people around) and the new rowing season then restarts beginning of September.

Closing down the club for a month means a few hours work for some volunteers. First a barbecue, then starting the cleaning work (nice order of tasks !). Quite nasty is the cleaning of the security boats, scrubing off a foul green coat from the boats, most of it by hands. The good thing about: the cleaning outcome is directly visible.
