Thanksgiving Day
Began my day by turning 3 of my small pumpkin cheesecakes into pilgrim turkeys, and then taking them to the 3 guys working at the power plant today (Sutton Plant) ensuring that our lights stay on and our ovens have power to cook our feasts!!
Once home again, Kent & I watched the Macy’s Parade on TV.
Our dinner was all prepped so all I needed to do today was put things in the oven or on the stove top. I had our turkey breast, dressing (stuffing), sweet potato casserole, green beans, gravy, mashed potatoes, & yeast rolls all done by 12:30.
After eating, we made plates to take over to Runyon & Eddie and I also put together a pilgrim turkey cheesecake for them too.
Fought falling asleep for a while and then Kent gave me the task of putting together some gift bags that we’ll be giving closer to Christmas.
It has been a day to truly be thankful.
