Sweet Pea . . . Tommy Roe
Last nights Thanks Giving dinner was delicious. The Turkey was put in brine prior to cooking and it was tender and moist. Two green salads and perfectly roasted Kumara, Potatoe and Parsnips. The pumpkin pie was awesome with a biscuit crumb base. We didn't hold hands but we did go around the table saying what we are thankful for.
This mornig i picked sweet peas to keep them flowering and the pink Fairy rose on the side is to be taken to a friend.
Yesterday my sister's property went to auction. We watched it online and I think this could be a new hobby for older folks. It was exciting seeing how high the properties go. Unfortunately there was only one bid for the family plot and it was half the valuation. There were negoiations out the back and the buyer moved up to be $300,000. under the valuation. The syblings decided they could live with that. My nephew later reported the buyer seemed a genuine chap who wants to renovate the old house. Could be a true story.
Happy weekend to all.
