This idyllic scene greeted us on our return after walking the Peninsula track between Kerr Bay and West Bay in the Nelson Lakes National Park.

The balmy temperature of around 22/23C was very pleasant - unlike a very warm 29C at 6pm as we neared home. Goodness knows how hot it had been earlier in the day!

No photos were taken today so I am adding this one to my journal as a record of our ‘day out’ yesterday.
