St James's Park: Urban Ross'sling
More out of place in large
Back blip
Long time, no Ross'sling (more than a year: this was my last Ross'sling blip)!
I was in London for a couple of days, but now home in Canterbury...
It was my brother's b'day on Wednesday, then I attended South London Partnership "Innovation and Improvement" conference, held at The Oval cricket ground on Thursday.
I arrived in London after the sun had gone down, but there just enough light for me to try to find the Ross'sling. I'd pretty much given up on finding her, having walked the whole way around the lake at St James's Park, but then found her grazing with greylags between the lake and The Mall as I walked towards Trafalgar Square to meet Imogen for coffee at Notes.
Yay!
The low light necessitated high ISO, and that coupled with the Ross'sling's whiteness revealed Chromatic Aberrations that I've never noticed before with the 70-200mm, so photographing the Ross'sling is still teaching me a thing or two...
