Carnival day in Machynlleth.x

Up at 9am, showered and then breakfast. Sally was already sat outside in the sunshine. We all went down to town, had a look in Ian Snow and then went and sat and had a coffee in the sun, by the clock.The street soon became full of people waiting to watch the parade. I think the whole town turned out.
The parade was fantastic, lots of floats, laughter and fun. Lovely to see the town smiling again. Came back to the field and sat in the sun and looked at the papers. Tanya and Dave arrived and we chatted and had a cup of tea. Walked around the field with them then they headed back to Wrexham.
Just had tea and it has just started to rain.x
