Birthday Eve

We had a great day today celebrating Jen's birthday weekend. Of course, you want to do your favourite things for your birthday so we headed to Whole Foods this morning - always a brilliant time. I've blipped Whole Foods before but never the inside so I thought I would show you all the amazing selection of the fresh produce section.

We headed home with our lunch picked up from Whole Foods to have at home then headed out for just a wander around town. So often we have a set thing to do in town, or a list to work our way though, but today we had no fixed plan and just saw how the afternoon took us. Much better!

We knew the Merchant City festival was on today so we headed to that area of town. When we got there we found a continental market on with hundreds of people wandering around enjoying themselves. Spotted this street art in the making, I will have to head back when it is complete! A successful trip to a few shops for Jen, including a complete new gym outfit, which looks very great I must say! Iced coffee on the way home in the sunshine, a perfect day.

Looking forward to Jen's birthday tomorrow, we have friends joining us so it will be a real celebration!
