It was a frosty but bright morning so we decided to walk at the National Trust's Sutton Hoo. The site is just open to walkers during the week and there were several people enjoying the many trails.
The wildlife were rather uncooperative with their photo opportunities, so you have the relatively new 17 metre tall viewing tower, from where you can see the burial mounds of Saxon royalty that has made the site world famous for the treasures unearthed at various digs and which are mostly displayed at the British Museum in London.
