A Horse With No Name

But it has got a fairly hefty price tag - £985!!
I needed to go to a lot of different places in town today, the plan being to end up at the gym. Couldn’t be bothered taking the car, so I walked down, which meant I wouldn’t have to worry about traffic or car parking.
And because I was on foot, I actually had time to stop and have a look at this horse, which had been on display outside the Antiques Emporium for the past week or so. After getting over the shock of the price tag, I was interested to learn that it was from a Blackpool Pleasure Beach ride. Presumably put out to pasture after injuring its leg! Not sure I’d have room for it in our house though, even if I had a spare thousand pounds.
A good session in the gym, and a most enjoyable walk home - not too cold and the rain stayed away. I’m having a gym “rest week” next week so it was good to finish today with some new PBs. The afternoon was spent dealing with emails and other paperwork, but I did manage to book a couple of shows for next year before shutting down the PC for the weekend.
I will concentrate on learning lines tomorrow, in anticipation of running through the whole Panto on Sunday. Though I suspect “stumble” might be a more apt description than “run”…
