O Christmas Tree O Christmas Tree
Hundreds of them, as far as the eye could see.
We've been to Burford Garden Centre, had a nice though expensive lunch in the packed restaurant. The car park was busy too, we had to park in the overflow bit. They'll be here to get their Christmas trees said mrsfb. Well there were plenty to choose from, though not many were buying.
We had a look around after lunch, lots of household things, gifts, toys, books, clothes, gourmet foods etc. Mrsfb was quite taken by The Reading Man, by Henrietta Bud, £295 (extra). Maybe a big birthday present next year? I managed to prise her away from a larger £1400 version.
I also looked for some trellis to fix our Bert damaged jasmine to, but they don't do that. I would need to go to a garden centre for that. Hmm.
Afterwards we drove down into Burford. The car park was very muddy, it looked like the river had probably flooded it.
In other news we had our new microwave delivered today. I'd negotiated half price fitting. I don't think they were too happy as it was rather difficult and took them nearly two hours. While they were doing it the window cleaner came. It was a busy morning.
