Today we visited the fabulous Bowes Museum for a viewing of the Vivienne Westwood collection & the remarkable exhibition of LS Lowry & Norman Cornish, artists who depicted northern life in all it’s wonder, colour, hardship, joy & stoicism. If you get the opportunity, you must go. It’s not often that the visual arts can evoke such depth of emotion …. truly wonderful! And whilst there we took the opportunity of seeing the Silver Swan do her thing. Amazing!
