Business as usual
Took the dogs to Hailey Park alongside the river Taff this morning. The thing that struck me was the clumps of twigs and man made rubbish strewn quite high up the trees and bushes on the river bank. This suggested that: 1) During the recent flooding, the river must have been up to 10 feet higher and 2) So much detritus had been washed down from higher up the valley including items of clothing giving an indication of the devastation caused by the recent flooding.
Oh, and this heron seemed unbothered and was concentrating on his job of fishing.
