Diary of an Edinburgher

A pleasant day, three walkies for Archie, but he was very naughty this afternoon - he found a chicken bone on the pavement. What absolute idiot chucks a chicken bone down once they’ve gnawed at it? Yes, the same ones who just drop every bit of litter as they wander along.
I’m looking at you, High School pupils

Thing is, he finds bread crusts and apples, which are usually allowed, but chicken bones can rupture his insides! And he turns into an aggressive wolf and would probably bite your finger off in his absolute rage to keep it.

I watched the ‘Assisted Dying Bill’ debate in Westminster for most of the day. It was excellent. No yelling and jeering as is the usual childish parliamentary behaviour, but instead, impassioned speeches for and against, and a quiet, respectful audience. And it passed, with a 55 majority, thank goodness!

Abi and Fergus (and Pip) popped round for a snack, and to see the holiday photos on the big screen. A very pleasant evening was had.
