Before 8 am the removal of the old surfaces began. And we will be in a semi-disrupted kitchen state for the next two weeks!

I followed the proceedings from Westminster today. The gravitas and civility shown by the all MPs was something I don’t remember happening before.

We also made excellent progress with all the Christmas cards that needed to be posted this weekend.
